Become A Party or Club Promoter

How does one become a party planner and club promoter and do i have what it takes to make it in this business?

Frankly, anybody can become a successful party planner and club promoter. In fact you just need to possess the 3 most common characteristics and traits of a Big time Promoter.

Being Proactive
This is is the difference between the people that make it big and the people that fail, in promoting.
Be Outgoing
You don't have to be born popular to begin with, in fact promoting will make you well known, very quickly. However in order for you to be well-known, you're going to have to be outgoing and meet as many people as you can. The more outgoing you are, the more people you will know, the more clients you will have, and the more money you will earn!

Be VERY Interested in Making BIG Bucks Partying
All the successful promoters are out to make a lot of money so should you. Once you have the strong desire to make lots of money, you will learn the neccessary skills in order to be successful and come out with creative ways to promote your party.

Remember, being a Club Promoter is a great way to tap into one of the most lucrative events and entertainment while partying with some of the most beautiful girls or handsome hunks out there.

6 Cool Facts About Being A Club Party Promoter

  • Well Compensated (You get PAID, a lot, to party!!!!)

  • Get to Party for FREE (besides obviously not having to pay to get into the party, you also will get to drink free too)

  • Instant celebrity status (No, you're not going to be Brad Pitt or Angelina, but like it or not, promoters are extremely popular and powerful within their social circles)

  • Job Flexibility (Promoting allows you freedom to work as much or as little as you want, and you have no set hours to be in an office and no boss to report to)

  • You get to meet lots of beautiful women and eligible men plus some of the biggest celebrities and athletes in the world

  • You get to sleep in during the day.

How To Become A Successful Club Party Promoter?

In order to become a big-time promoter that rakes in the cash on a weekly basis, you need to know some tricks of the trade to be able to throw great parties week in and week out.

promoterThese are things you can't put a price on...

Learn everyone's name:
Sounds kind of stupid but remember this, people really feel special when you know their name...especially when you just met them or when you've only met them once. Everyone likes to feel important and knowing people's name makes them feel important. It's not always easy to remember everyone's name when you meet them (especially if you've been doing a lot of partying that night) but try your best to work at'll only benefit you.

Treat all the people on your list as a VIP:
Don't just take care of your friends or people that are deemed "cool". Try to take care of everyone that comes to your party or to the club on your list, as a VIP...and there are a million little things you can do to make people feel like a VIP. Get them drinks on your tab. Introduce them to other people (especially those of the opposite sex). Let them into your "VIP section" or bring them to your personal table to party... anything you can do to show that you appreciate their business will go along way in making them feel VIP, and that will make them extremely loyal to you.

Remember having loyal customers is a huge part of this business and it's the key factor in separating the fly-by-night promoters, and the serious people that are in it to make the big money.

Hire A Photographer:
When you have a photographer going around your party, it makes people think it's a more VIP party. They see people getting their picture taken and they associate it with paparazzi and famous they feel more VIP and that makes them want to tell their friends and come to your next party. (try it out and see for yourself)

If you have a blog or website, post those pictures. People love to see pictures of themselves and their friends online. When their picture is posted on a website, people almost feel "famous". Having lots of pictures on your site will allow you to get lots of traffic to your site just by people wanting to see the pictures from that night before. While they are there, they can sign up for your guest list, learn about your other parties or buy tickets to your next upcoming events.

Have the photographer hand out cards to the people saying "if you want to view the pictures from tonight, go to abcwebsite". This way people have a way to find their pictures (and your site) easily.

It's a win-win!

If you want to take it a step further to help keep things exciting and people coming back each week, you can give away prizes (t-shirts, food, drinks) based on in-game contests such as the "box-game", "last man standing pools", final scores, etc.

Club Party Promoter Success Stories!

promoterI had to write you to let you know how good your book was to me.

I bought the Party Promoter Guide about 2 months ago after searching for a new job for awhile. I'm part-time student and I've been working a job that i hate.

I've always thought of myself as someone that makes things happen but i just hadn't found the right gig.

I saw your site and got the guide and started my own promoting company. First thing i did was put together a website and myspace page. I already have a few hundred friends and my site is getting 100's of hits a week. That whole thing took about 3 days to do.

Now i'm throwing a weekly party that is making me nice money and I've made more money each week since I started. the more people that come, the more money i get paid AND the faster i grow my name, the faster the cash comes in. My party from last weekend brought in over $400 in cash!!!

I'm going to quit my job soon to do more parties.

I honestly loved the Party Promoter Guide and couldn't have done it without your help. I wish i read this book 2 years ago before starting my job.

3 Huge Reasons Why It's A GREAT Time To Be A Party Promoter

Even in a weak economy...

Clubs and party venues have fixed rental and overhead costs.

When times are tough, they need and rely MORE on promoters to help pull in their crowds to fill in the venues to cover their bills and make money. Take advantage of this opportunity!

Promoting can be done in your part time.

Very little start up costs are needed and you can help supplement your monthly pay check with a part time income promoting parties to help keep you afloat during the tough times.

It's also nice incentive to get paid going to parties.

When you work for yourself, you can't be laid off.

As a party promoter, you own your own business. You decide how much money you want to make and nobody can tell you what you can and cannot do all day.... E'nuff said!
